The Round-Up
Sunday 2nd December
It’s a piece of sad news to bring you from the NWGFL league this week, with Kirkley & Pakefield Ladies with drawing from Division Two. A shame to see but not surprising, unfortunately have been struggling to field a full side since the start of the season and have only played a handful of fixtures. This sees some adjustment to the league table. No doubt the highlight of their spell being the achievement of reaching the Suffolk Women’s County Cup Final in the 2105/16 season and getting to play at Ipswich Town FC’s, Portman Road. Kirkley & Pakefield have a strong youth set-up and hopefully one day women’s football will return. Wishing everyone involved with the club all the best for the future.
