The Round-Up – #ERWFL 12/11/17

The Round-Up

Sunday 12th November

It is with sadness that I have to bring the news of another football casualty this season a 2nd side having to call it a day in the ERWFL Premier Division. Making to tough decision are Lowestoft Town Ladies, a club that has enjoyed many good times in recent season’s featured in my very 1st match report on the Supporting Women’s Football Blog. However trouble caused by the previous management regime saw a host of playing departures at the club and despite their best efforts to rebuild and regroup the club has failed to attract sufficient numbers this season struggling to field a team. A real shame but wish all those involved the best going forwards. Hopefully the town can one day field a woman’s side again the game is poorer for not having Lowestoft in it.

ERWFL Premier Division

No stopping Cambridge City Ladies right now in the ERWFL Premier Division as they climb to their highest ever league position going 2nd in the table after a 6th straight league win. Were taking on Writtle Ladies the side in possession of 2nd spot going into the game in Essex, Writtle starting the season really well themselves enjoying a similar run to the one Cambridge City are on right now.
