Were hosting 4th placed Bar Hill Ladies who have 6 games in hand on them with just the one defeat from those games. Are amongst a clutch of clubs below Newmarket Town with games in hand so it’s important Newmarket keep collecting points, goals from Kristen Hummel and captain Bethany Woodfield saw them win the game 2-0 to get the 3 points, now lead Bar Hill by 9 points who have 4 games still in hand but they have to play all the sides around them and points likely to be dropped over the coming weeks Newmarket Town with 3 games left will be hoping for maximum points another big game this Sunday hosting 3rd placed Cambridge United WFC Reserves.
A big win away from home for Netherton United Ladies sees them move above Cambridge United WFC Reserves into 2nd place in the Premiership table. Away to ICA Sports Ladies on Sunday, Netherton United held a 4-0 lead at half time. Captain Megan Parrett setting the ball rolling scoring from the penalty spot in the 12th minute. Parrett went on to complete a 1st half hat-trick with Sasha Haw adding to the scoresheet in between. Cambridgeshire Women’s League Cup
The semi-finals for this season’s Cambridgeshire Women’s League Cup are known after the last 2 remaining quarter final ties were played this Sunday. Cambridge United WFC Reserves were hosting local rivals Cambridge University Women often a close game between the 2 sides this game was no different just the one goal settling the tie and it was scored by Cambridge United WFC Reserves, Lucy Gateson to put them into the last 4 of the competition along with Netherton United Ladies and Bar Hill Ladies.
Making up the last 4 of the league cup is another Premiership side, St Ives Town Ladies hosting Championship North side P&L Motors Diamonds goals from Connie Liddiard, Hannah Seymour-Shove, Georgia Stancombe and Amy Seymour-Shove saw St Ives Town into the semi-finals with a 4-2 win.

Cambridgeshire Women’s Championship North
In the Championship North leaders March Town United Ladies extended their lead at the top of the table to 6 points keeping up their 100% league record with a 7th win on Sunday were at home playing Hungate Rovers Ladies. A single goal enough for March Town United to claim all 3 points Shannon Kelly putting the ball into the back of the net.
A few more goals seen between Ketton Ladies and Swineshead Institute Ladies at the weekend the two sides playing out a 9 goal thriller it was hoe side Ketton who edged it in the end taking the 3 points with a 5-4 win that sees them leap up the Championship North table from 5th spot into 2nd.
Another big mover in the Championship North table after the weekends results are Wisbech Town Ladies at home to bottom side Thurlby Tigers won the match 5-0 the victory lifting them up from 7th place into 4th.
Cambridgeshire Women’s Championship South
In the Championship South league leaders Cambridge City Ladies Development squad remain unbeaten recording their 10th win from 11 games played to lead the table by 12 points. Were away this Sunday playing Fulbourn Bluebirds. Kayleigh Whitehead opened the scoring for Cambridge City sending a shot from range over the keeper to make it 1-0 the lead 2-0 at half-time Tegan Wyman getting the goal 5 minutes before the break. The visitors extended the lead 10 minutes into the 2nd half Ellie Geoghan with the goal, Erin Fox making it 4-0 with just over 20 minutes left to see the points won.
Milton Ladies climb back up into 2nd place in the Championship South table with a double figure win away to bottom side Orton Rangers Ladies at the weekend. Sam Cousins netting herself a hat-trick there were braces too for Lucie Buekova, Dora Dixon and Rebekah Finch with Alana Lander also on target along with an OG to see Milton win 11-1.
4th placed Isleham United Ladies were away on Sunday morning playing Cambridge Rangers. Laura Todd scoring 2 goals in the match with Lily Turner and Louisa Harwood also getting on the scoresheet in a 4-0 win.
