Essex Women’s League Cup

League Cup weekend in Essex with 6 ties scheduled in the 2nd Round of the competition this Sunday a place in the quarter finals up for grabs. The weather claiming one tie with Collier Row Tigers home tie with FC Clacton Ladies called off. Plenty of action elsewhere however.

Holders Corringham Cosmos were away to previous finalists Runwell Sports Ladies in the 2nd Round on Sunday the Premier Division side struggling for form this season. Runwell Sports form running hot & cold following their relegation to Division One. Turned out to be a close match between the two sides. Drawing 1-1 at half-time, both added another goal 2nd half drawing 2-2 extra-time failed to separate them the game heading into a penalty shootout Runwell Sports celebrating at the end of it all winning 4-1 to progress. Danielle Dorrington and Ashleigh Harvey scoring in regular play for Runwell Sports, Rebecca Gallagher with both of Corringham Cosmos’ goals.

A great result for Chigwell Ladies in the League Cup at the weekend as the Division One side knocked out Premier Division opposition away from home on Sunday in the 2nd Round. Chigwell were away to Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves. A brace from Victoria Parker her 12th & 13th goals of the season enough to defeat their higher league opponents 2-1 to book their place in the last 8 of the competition.

Harlow Town Ladies Development are having a strong season in the Essex Women’s Premier Division their young side drawn at home to fellow league side Silver End United Ladies in the 2nd Round of the League Cup. Harlow’s top scorer Hannah Smith scoring a brace in the match taking her to 18 goals from 11 appearances this season. Captain Amelia Hall getting her 1st goal of the season plus an own goal securing a 4-0 win for the home side to book their quarter final spot.

Southend United Ladies were convincing winners on Sunday in the 2nd Round of the Essex Women’s League Cup dominating against Division One side Belhus Ladies to reach the quarter finals of the competition. Emily Pert netting a hat-trick in the game for Southend their were braces for Ria Toovey and Ellie Wood. Goals too for captain Lauren Halliday, Kate Wiseman & Lauren Johnson with Lily Aungier and Sophie on target for their first goals of the season. Southend running out 12-3 winners didn’t have it all their own way. Danni Jennings scoring twice and Hayley Freeman with the goals for Belhus.

It was an all Division One clash in the 2nd Round of the Essex Women’s League Cup between Island Ladies & Leigh Ramblers Ladies Reserves on Sunday. A close contest, Chloe & Kirsty Simmonds scoring a goal a piece for Island the home side edged out at the final whistle with Leigh Ramblers scoring 3 against the reach the last 8 of the competition.

Essex Women’s County Cup

One outstanding quarter final played this Sunday in the Essex Women’s County Cup, postponed the weekend before FAWNL South East Division One high flyers, Billericay Town Ladies were drawn at home to Rayleigh Town Ladies. A very tough test for the Division One side, who can score plenty on their day up against a side playing 4 leagues higher and as strong as they have ever been. Billericay indeed proving too strong as they blew Rayleigh away an eye watering scoreline too winning 31-0! Billericay will now been at home to Brentwood Town Ladies in the semi-finals.

Essex Women’s Premier Division

One game from the Essex Women’s Premier Division this Sunday, 4th versus 2nd with Chelmsford City Ladies hosting Frontiers Ladies. A competitive game the sides having to settle for a share of the points drawing 1-1. Shannon Kelly scoring for Chelmsford. Kelly Holsworth on target for Frontiers.

Essex Women’s Division One

Goals the order of the day for Billericay Town Ladies as their Reserves side extended their lead at the top of Division One with a double figure win at home to Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves on Sunday. Nicola Carty top scoring in the game claiming a hat-trick. Lisa Robins the sides top goal scorer adding 2 more to her tally. With six more goalscorers, Kelsey Smith, Alicia Woodward, Grace Lane, Lauren Bourne, Sarah Dimambro and Rachel Armstrong-Marris all getting on the scoresheet in an 11-0 victory.

Essex Women’s Premier Division

With Premier Division leaders, Leigh Ramblers involved in the League Cup this Sunday it was an opportunity for 2nd placed Frontiers Ladies to close the 8 point lead that had been opened up. The Harlow based side away to Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves. A brace each for Kay Foy and Charley Sandford along with a goal from Hayley King seeing Frontiers win the 3 points with a 5-0 victory.

Harlow Town Ladies Development also in league action at the weekend strengthened their hold on 3rd position with an away win again Corringham Cosmos on Sunday. Harlow with a slender advantage at half-time leading the game 1-0. Rebecca Gallagher striking twice for Corringham in the 2nd half, Harlow going one better to add a further 3 goals to their tally to win the game 4-2 with both Ellie Nicholls and Hannah Smith scoring a brace.

A big win at home for 5th placed Collier Row Tigers on Sunday in the Premier Division as they look to gain ground in the league, the 3rd consecutive match that has featured Collier Row Tigers winning or losing by 8 goals, an 8-2 victory against Frontiers, followed by an 8-2 defeat to Harlow Town Ladies Development. This time it was beacon Hill Rovers Ladies on the wrong end of the result, Collier Row Tigers building on a 2-0 half-time lead to add a further 6 without reply in the 2nd half. Laura Bunton and Sarah Finch both scoring 3 a piece, Finch one goal ahead of Bunton with 13 for the season, Daisy Cook and Helen Moreira with the other goals.

A tight contest between Southend United Ladies and Silver End United Ladies in the Premier Division on Sunday the 1st half ending goalless it was Southend who found the all important winning goal in the 2nd half with Emily Pert scoring her 6th goal of the season to see the home side climb up into 6th spot in the league table.

Essex Women’s League Cup

Two fixtures played this Sunday in the Essex Women’s League Cup that see’s the 1st Round completed. Premier Division leaders Leigh Ramblers Ladies were at home facing 4th placed Chelmsford City Ladies. A tough contest that could have gone either way it was Leigh Ramblers who progress a single goal enough to see the game won 12 consecutive wins for Leigh Ramblers now.

Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves were also in action in the 1st Round of the League Cup on Sunday at home were taking on fellow Division One side Hutton Ladies Reserves. The visitors in a rich vein of form winning 4 out of their last 5 games including victory over Chelmsford City in the league, a win in the League Cup too taking them into the 2nd Round, A brace from Rachel Agombar, with Laura Allen also getting a goal along with Emily Wilson and Mathilda Cant who scored their 1st Hutton goals in a 5-1 win.

Essex Women’s Division One

Wins for the top two in Division One saw Billericay Town Ladies Reserves and Dagenham & Redbridge pull 11 and 8 points respectfully clear of the sides below. Billericay were at home on Sunday up against Chigwell Ladies Nicola Carty netting a hat-trick for Billericay moves onto 7 goals for the season, Darcie Salmons getting on the scoresheet too with her 8th of the season along with Alicia Woodward and top scorer Lisa Robins who now has 16 to her name, Billericay winning 6-2, Jessica MacNab and Tamsyn Robertson with her 1st of the campaign the goalscorers for Chigwell.

Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies were at home in the league on Sunday a challenging encounter as they locked horns with Rayleigh Town Ladies who with plenty of games in hand and a free scoring attack could yet challenge the top two. It was Dagenham & Redbridge who managed to outscore their opponents by 4 goals to 2 at the final whistle to make it 10 wins out of 12 so far this season. Grace Tebb-Reading scoring a brace moving her onto 9 goals, the same tally as Jodie Barden who also celebrated a goal for Dagenham & Redbridge along with a 5th goal of the season for Juliet Thomas. Holly Gash scoring twice for Rayleigh who still have 4 games in hand on the leading pair.

At the other end of Division One the bottom two sides met on Sunday as Island Ladies hosted Belhus Ladies, the visitors coming away with the positive result to climb off the bottom of the table at Island’s expense. Danni Jennings scoring a hat-trick in a 6-2 win. Amara Drummond, Bethany Murray and Hayley Knott all getting a goal each for Belhus. Ebonnie Williams and Chloe Simmonds with the goals for Island.

Essex Women’s Premier Division

A great 2018 for Leigh Ramblers Ladies earning promotion to the Essex Women’s Premier Division at the 1st attempt haven’t looked back since an opening day defeat winning their next 9 league games to lead the way going into 2019. Started the New Year win another 3 points 10 wins from 10 now were at home to Corringham Cosmos on Sunday. Leading 2-0 at half-time those goals crucial as Corringham fought back 2nd half scoring 2 themselves Leigh Ramblers though adding 2 more themselves to win the match 4-2. Rebecca Dalgarno with a brace, Sasha Vail also getting a goal along with top scorer Kate Newton who now has 24 goals to her name.

The gap to the leaders 5 points after 2nd placed Frontiers Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Silver End United Ladies in the Premier Division on Sunday. Dempsey Favell netting for the 14th time this season for Frontiers, Ella Tooley getting the goal for Silver End.

Harlow Town Ladies Development have enjoyed a fantastic 1st half of the season in the Essex Women’s Premier Division in the top 3 positions the whole campaign to date with just the one defeat began 2019 at home to Collier Row Tigers who themselves have gained form as the season has progressed. Harlow though hit the ground running have goalscorers throughout the side and after ending the 1st half 4-2 up doubled their lead in the 2nd half to win the game 8-2. Ellie Nicholls moving onto double figures for the season scoring 4 goals. Hannah Smith is currently top scorer on 14 adding two more to her tally with Kummi Adams and Bethany Chambers with her 1st Harlow goal also on the scoresheet. Laura Bunton, scoring both the goals in the 1st half for Collier Row Tigers.

Consolidating 4th position in the Essex Women’s Premier Division are Chelmsford City Ladies, began 2019 with an away trip to Southend United Ladies on Sunday. Leading 3-0 at half-time went on to add a further 2 in the 2nd half to win the match 5-2. Georgia James scoring a hat-trick taking her onto 10 now for the season. Mia Brisley with a brace has 7 now for Chelmsford. Emily Pert and Kate Wiseman with the 2nd half goals for Southend United.

Essex Women’s League Cup

One tie from the 1st Round of the Essex Women’s League Cup played this Sunday, with Premier Division side Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves hosting Division One side Rayleigh Town Ladies. 3 goals for Brentwood in the first half for Marie Barker, Helen Clifford and Laura Knight. Amy Cox-Smith and Holly Gash on target for Rayleigh Town. Knight scoring a 2nd goal in the final minute securing a 4-2 win for Brentwood.

Essex Women’s Division One

A great start to the season for Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies in Essex Women’s Division One a 100% winning record going into December lost for the 1st time against fellow title chasers Billericay Town Ladies Reserves, defeat in extra-time in the League Cup followed. Began 2019 with an away trip to play Chigwell Ladies struggling at the opposite end of the table. A points deduction seeing them have just 6 points on the board the hosts started the year with a great result beating Dagenham & Redbridge by 2 goals to 1 to claim the 3 points on Sunday. Marie Gamage and Jessica MacNab celebrating the goals for Chigwell. Jodie Barton on the scoresheet for Dagenham & Redbridge suffering a 2nd successive defeat in the league nevertheless remain well placed 3 points behind Billericay in 2nd.

Hutton Ladies Reserves in 3rd position in Division One close the gap on the leading pair, with a 7th win of the season to start the year away at Runwell Sports Ladies on Sunday. Goals from Baylie Kingsnorth, Laura Allen and Danielle Hindley securing a 3-0 victory.

Leigh Ramblers Ladies Reserves began the year with a home game against Island Ladies, both new to the league this season the young sides have endured a tough start. A points deduction for Leigh Ramblers too it was a 0-1 win to them in the reverse fixture back in September. Another close game this time around the sides sharing 5 goals this time around Leigh Ramblers coming out on top winning it 3-2 thanks to goals from Louise Mazirel-Cowell and a brace for Elisha Reade. Jess Brown and Ebonnie Williams on the score sheet for Island.

Another new side having a tough start to life in Division One are Belhus Ladies bottom of the table they were at home to FC Clacton Ladies in their first game of 2019. Earned themselves a point in a high scoring draw after their opponents were reduced to 9 with two sent off on Sunday. Amy Hartley with a goal for Clacton one of those to receive their marching orders along with Megan-Leigh Lawrence. Sydney Smith-Gibbons and Charlotte Warren Clacton other goalscorers. Amara Drummond netting a hat-trick securing a point for Belhus.

Essex Women’s League Cup

The final Sunday of football in Essex this weekend, the schedule hit by postponements after Storm Deirdre blew in on Saturday leaving some pitches unplayable. The Sunday saw the beginning of this season’s League Cup competition with just 2 of the 5 listed 1st Round games surviving. Both intriguing however seeing Premier Division sides up against the top two tussling for the title in Division One.

Harlow Town Development’s young side starting the season well a long run unbeaten only recently coming to an end were away to Billericay Town Ladies Reserves leading the way in the league below. Harlow enjoying the better of the 1st half getting themselves a 2-0 advantage going into half-time. Those goals crucial as Billericay came back to score 2 themselves in the 2nd period. Harlow though matching that total getting a further two goals themselves to win the game 4-2 to progress in the League Cup. Harlow’s goals coming from, Poppy Binding, Kaydee King, Lucy Edmeades & Hannah Smith. Kelsey Smith & Mya Turner with the 2nd half goals for Billericay.

Billericay’s rivals at the top of Division One are Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies, they were drawn away to Premier Division side, Silver End United Ladies in the 1st Round of the League Cup this Sunday. A good contest between the sides both scoring twice in the 90 minutes the game heading into extra-time, Silver End United finding the back of the net one more time to win the tie 3-2 to advance. A brace from Rebecca Donnelly along with a goal for Ella Tooley for the hosts. Grace Tebb-Reading scoring for Dagenham & Redbridge, with Evie Doyle-Love also on the scoresheet with her 1st goal for the club.

Essex Women’s Division One

Two matches played in Essex Women’s Division One this Sunday. Runwell Sports Ladies finish the year up into 5th position. Played 12 now have won as many as they have lost. Their 6th win in the league coming away from home on Sunday against Belhus Ladies. A hat-trick from Rachael Selfe plus a 15th goal of the season for Aaryanna Simonelli securing a 4-2 result. Bethany Murray & Danni Jennings getting the goals for Belhus who slip back to the bottom of the table.

That coming as Island Ladies won for the 2nd time this season this Sunday away from home against Chigwell Ladies. The hosts playing most of the match with just 8 players, Island capitalising as Chigwell tired to get a positive result to end 2018. Megan Blackwell scoring twice for Island, there were goals too for Jess Bowen along with Chloe & Kirsty Simmonds both scoring their 1st goals of the season in a 5-1 win. Victoria Parker getting the goal for Chigwell.

Essex Women’s Premier Division

Sadly it’s bad news to bring you at the start of another Round-Up and the loss of a team from the league, Hullbridge Sports Ladies gone from the Essex Women’s Premier Division, having only just secured a return to the league winning the Division One title last season that coming after a previous hiatus from the game. A tough start struggling to find enough players to fulfil fixtures. Sad to see, have made a real impact upon the league, will we see them again I hope so but for now wish everyone connected with the club all the best for the future.

Onto the weekends league action with leaders Leigh Ramblers Ladies seeing their game away to Collier Row Tigers postponed on Sunday it was an opportunity for 2nd placed Frontiers Ladies to close the gap back to 3 points and apply some pressure if they themselves could secure the win away to Corringham Cosmos. The hosts scoring twice in the match once in each half through Nicole-Marie Mitchell and Rebecca Gallagher, it wasn’t enough as Frontiers scored double up the other end. Amber Strows giving Frontiers the lead scoring from all of 45 yards. An own goal putting the visitors into the lead Kelly Holsworth on target with a goal to make it 3-1 Corringham Cosmos pulling it back to 3-2, Emma Best headed home from a corner to see Frontiers win the game 4-2.

Another side capitalising on the postponed match between Collier Row Tigers and Leigh Ramblers were Chelmsford City Ladies as they secured a home win on Sunday to move back into 4th position in the Premier Division table. Chelmsford were entertaining bottom side Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves. All the goals coming in the first half, Mia Brisley on target scoring a brace. Gaby Freedman also on the scoresheet for Chelmsford. The final score 3-1 with Helen Clifford scoring for Brentwood in the 40th minute.

Southend United Ladies were away in the Premier Division this Sunday travelling to Silver End United Ladies. The visitors enjoying a good first half getting themselves into a strong 3-0 lead, adding 2 more 2nd half to win the game 5-1 and win for just the 2nd time this season. Emily Pert scoring a hat-trick for Southend with Ellie Wood and Lauren Johnson also getting a goal each. Lauren Hannah with the 2nd half goal for Silver End.

Essex Women’s Division One

A big game at the top of Essex Women’s Division One this Sunday with the top two going head to head for the 2nd time this season, Just goal difference separating Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies and Billericay Town Ladies Reserves. Dagenham & Redbridge with a 100% winning start, Billericay with just the one loss that against Dagenham & Redbridge back in September a 3-2 win for Dagenham & Redbridge at Billericay. Dagenham & Redbridge the hosts this time around it wasn’t so close. Billericay winning the game 7-1 one to move 3 points clear at the top, Sophie Vale scoring 4 goals. Rachel Armstrong-Morris finding the back of the net for two goals with Darcie Salmons also on the scoresheet. Dagenham & Redbridge’s 100% record at an end, Juliet Thomas getting their goal.

Big wins elsewhere too in the league. Hutton Ladies Reserves keeping ahead of the chasing pack in 3rd position in the table with a double figure win away from home on Sunday. Were taking on Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves. With Hutton’s first team not in action the Reserves borrowed the goal machine that is Vicky Kinsman, she added another 5 goals to her impressive tally for the season. Those goals helping Hutton to a comfortable victory with further goals coming for, Samantha Kuski and Dani Gimbert. Danielle Hindley netting her 1st goal for Hutton along with a brace for Giulia Francesconi in a 10-0 win.

Rayleigh Town Ladies are another side scoring plenty of goals this season and in 4th position have games in hand still on those above. Were away to Belhus Ladies in Division One this Sunday. A close first half between the sides, Rayleigh edging it 4-3. A different story after the break however with Rayleigh piling on a further 5 goals to win the game 9-3 at the final whistle. Rayleigh captain Isabelle Wallings rarely not amongst the goals so it’s usually a matter of checking how many and she was once again on fire in front of goal scoring a double hat-trick. Megan Harley is also enjoying a good season in front of goal scoring a hat-trick herself for Rayleigh moves her onto 15 now for the season. There was also another hat-trick scored in the match with Amara Drummond claiming all 3 in the 1st half for Belhus including a penalty.

Lastly Runwell Sports Ladies were away to Island Ladies on Sunday. The sides level at 1-1 at half-time it was Runwell Sports who had the better of the 2nd half going on to score 3 goals to win the game 4-1 Rhianna Bird scoring twice for the visitors with Ashleigh Harvey also getting a goal, Aaryanna Simonelli on target too for Runwell with her 14th of the season. Megan Blackwell with the 1st half goal for Island Ladies her 1st goal in only her 2nd start.

Essex Women’s Premier Division

The weekends weather playing it’s part in Essex this weekend with half of the scheduled league games affected, just the five games taking place across the two divisions. The Premier Division seeing the top two in action both at home and significant results as Leigh Ramblers young guns open up a 6 point lead at the top of the table with their 10th successive win, 8 of those in the league. A double figure win this Sunday against Beacon Hill Rovers Ladies. Kate Newton top scoring for Leigh Ramblers takes her tally to 23 for the season with a hat-trick. Paige White also celebrating a hat-trick this Sunday. Amy Jacobs getting a brace has 9 now for the season as does Rebecca Dalgarno scoring one against Beacon Hill, Chloe Gilligan also getting a goal the final score 10-0.

Up next for Leigh Ramblers is a trip to Collier Row Tigers who themselves are in a rich vein of form, 4 wins in a row now scoring 33 goals along the way to move up to 4th in the Premier Division with a big result away to 2nd placed Frontiers Ladies this Sunday. A 2nd defeat of the season for Frontiers having recently lost their 100% winning start to Leigh Ramblers, Collier Row Tigers racing into a 5-1 half-time lead going on to record an 8-2 victory. Emma Harrison and Sarah Finch both scoring a brace. Finch moving onto 12 for the season is joined at the top of the goal scoring charts by Laura Bunton who has found her feet back in front of goal now hitting 4 into the back of the net on Sunday. Dempsey Favell and Kay Foy with the goals in each half for Frontiers.

Essex Women’s Division One

A two week break for Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies in Essex Women’s Division One, in that spell they have see Billericay Town Ladies Reserves take over the lead. Billericay without a fixture this Sunday, Dagenham & Redbridge were back in action at home looking to continue thier 100% winning start to the league 8 wins became 9 as they won comfortably against Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves. Without top scorer, Amy Jacobs, Dagenham & Redbridge have goalscorers all over the pitch, Morgan Duffield netting a brace, there were goals each for Jodie Barden, Grace Tebb-Reading, Juliet Thomas & Sade Walters in a 6-0 win. Dagenham & Redbridge joining Billericay at the top of the table on 27 points.

The leading pair a well clear of the chasing pack, 11 points no the gap to 3rd spot with a new side moving into that position, FC Clacton Ladies winning away from home on Sunday to climb the Division One table. Goals from Amy Hartley, Megan-Leigh Lawrence & Charlotte Warren seeing Clacton edge the result 3-2 over Runwell Sports Ladies to claim the 3 points.

Belhus Ladies are off the bottom of Division One as the newcomers claim their first win of the season this Sunday. A single goal enough to earn them the 3 points away from home against Chigwell Ladies. Amber Elliot with her first goal of the season seeing Belhus celebrate the win.

Essex Women’s Premier Division

Two games in the Essex Women’s Premier Division this Sunday feature the top 3 sides. Two young sides going head to head, with Leigh Ramblers Ladies topping the table hosting 3rd placed Harlow Town Ladies Development the sole unbeaten side in the league. An tight contest it was Leigh Ramblers who emerged with the win and 3 points at the final whistle edging out Harlow 3 goals to 2 and see the visitors lose their unbeaten record after 9 games played. A brace for Hannah Smith for Harlow. Amy Jacobs also claiming a brace to for Leigh Ramblers, Chloe Gilligan the other goal scorer for Leigh Ramblers her first goal of the season.

It was Leigh Ramblers who brought an end to Frontiers Ladies 100% winning start two weeks ago. Were back in action this Sunday at home taking on Beacon Hill Rovers Ladies, and bounced back with a 3-1 victory. Kay Foy finding the back of the net for two goals, with Dempsey Favell also on the scoresheet with her 12th of the season. Jo Smeaton more often than not amongst the goals for Beacon Hill Rovers scoring on Sunday to move onto 13 for the season.

Essex Women’s County Cup

One tie left to be played in the Essex Women’s County Cup 3rd Round this Sunday the winners knowing they face a tough away trip to FAWNL South East Division One side, Billericay Town Ladies. Division One side Rayleigh Town Ladies were hosting Premier Division side Hullbridge Sports Ladies. Hullbridge struggling for numbers at the start of the season up against a side full of goals at the moment and Rayleigh continued that good form in the County Cup. Captain Isabelle Wallings taking her tally for the season to an incredible 30 goals as she scored a double hat-trick in the match. Holly Gash with a hat-trick, Eleasha Reeves getting a brace and a goal for Megan Harley all have double figures for the season now. Millie Arnold, Amy Cox-Smith and Jo Cooper also on the scoresheet with a goal each in a 15-1 win. Megan Marney scoring the goal for 10 player Hullbridge.

Essex Women’s Trophy

One tie played in the 1st Round of the Essex Women’s Trophy this Sunday with Premier Division sides, Southend United Ladies & Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves meeting in the competition. Southend at home winning comfortably to progress, Ria Toovey and Lauren Johnson both scoring two goals each. There were goals to for Emily Pert, Melissa Burton, Ellie Wood and Lily Halliday in an 8-0 result.

Essex Women’s Division One

With Dagenham & Redbridge not playing again this Sunday a win for Billericay would see them go 3 points clear at the top. A trip to bottom side Belhus Ladies, 3 players all scored a hat-trick as Billericay recorded a double figure win. Hutton Ladies Reserves are up from 5th to 3rd spot in the Division One table with a good result away to FC Clacton Ladies on Sunday. A narrow lead for the visitors at half-time Hutton 2-1 up, Laura Allen scoring a hat-trick making her first start of the season with Demi Gimbert on the scoresheet for the 1st time this season as Hutton ran out 4-1 winners in the 2nd half.

Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves recorded just their 2nd league win of the season on Sunday as they took on Island Ladies at home in the league. Charlotte Stelmaszyk scoring twice for Chelmsford her first goals of the season. Also celebrating their first goals of the season were Alex Greenshields, Freya Barnard and Daniella Cross. Tish Cleary also getting a goal as Chelmsford won the game 6-1. Sarah McDonnell scoring the goal for Island.

An away win too for Chigwell Ladies on Sunday in Division One as they travelled to play Leigh Ramblers Ladies Reserves. Just Chigwell’s 3rd win of the season. Both Jessica MacNab and Caitlin Hynes were on target with a goal each, Marie Gamage with her first goals of the season, celebrating a hat-trick as Chigwell won the game 5-1 to earn the 3 points. New leaders in the Essex Women’s Premier Division after this Sunday’s results as Leigh Ramblers Ladies came out on top in the 1st clash of the season between the top two to move 3 points clear. 6 wins from 6 for Frontiers Ladies at the start of the season to see them leading the table. Leigh Ramblers had won 6 in a row themselves after losing on the opening day a have played one more than Frontiers that had seen them move level on points. At Frontiers this Sunday afternoon, the home side saw their 100% winning start come to an end. Leigh Ramblers enjoying the better of the 1st half leading 3-0. Both scoring in the 2nd half Leigh Ramblers winning the game 4-1. Amy Jacobs finding the back of the net for a hat-trick. Kate Newton also on the scoresheet with her 20th goal of the season. Harlow Town Ladies Development continue their unbeaten start to the season in the Premier Division away from home on Sunday coming back from a 2-1 deficit at half-time to earn a point in a 3-3 draw with Southend United Ladies. Ebony Baker and Chloe Wells scoring for the 1st time this season there was a goal too for Lily Halliday for Southend. Harlow Town’s goals coming through, Tasmin Turner, Savannah Japal and Hannah Smith with her 9th goal of the season.

Chelmsford City Ladies in 4th place in the Premier Division got back to winning ways this Sunday with a comfortable home win against, Corringham Cosmos. Both Lisa Overall and Georgia James scoring a hat-trick each the match have 7 and 6 goals respectfully now for the season. Mia Brisley and Gaby Freedman also getting on the scoresheet, Freedman’s first of the season in an 8-1 victory. Rachel Fleming on the hour scoring for Corringham Cosmos who drop to 8th in the Premier Division table.

Three straight league wins now in the Premier Division for Collier Row Tigers in 5th spot, 25 goals scored in those matches too. Were away to Hullbridge Sports Ladies this Sunday, the hosts scoring 3 goals, Stacy Bott scoring 2 of them her first for the club. Collier Row Tigers proving to strong in front of goal up the other end however. Laura Bunton moving onto 8 goals for the season scoring 5 times in the game. A hat-trick too for Emma Harrison her 1st goals of the season. Sarah Finch top scorer fro Collier Row Tigers moving into double figures with a brace. Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves were hosting Beacon Hill Rovers Ladies this Sunday the sides goalless at the break, Joanne Attridge scoring for the home side in the 52nd minute. Beacon Hill Rovers getting back on level terms before going on to find a winning goal and claim the 3 points the 2-1 win their 2nd of the season. Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies fantastic start to the season in Essex Women’s Division One continues as they kept up their 100% winning record on Sunday winning away from home to make it 8 from 8 in the league now. Were taking on Leigh Ramblers Ladies Reserves. Grace Tebb-Reading scoring her 5th goal of the season their were 2nd goals of the season for Daisy Theobald, Juliet Thomas and Morgan Duffield in a 4-0 win.

Hot on Dagenham & Redbridge’s heels remain 2nd placed Billericay Town Ladies Reserves just 3 points behind with one defeat form their 8 matches played. Were on the road too themselves this Sunday a trip to Runwell Sports Ladies. Drawing 1-1 at half-time, the visitors having the better of the 2nd half to win the game 5-1. Broghan Kelly making her first appearance for Billericay’s Reserves scoring a hat-trick. Sophie Vale also on target with a goal with top scorer Lisa Robins netting her 12th goal of the season. FC Clacton Ladies are up to 4th in Essex Women’s Division One with a big win away to Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves on Sunday. Becky McDougall moving into double figures for the season for Clacton has 12 now as she scored 5 goals in the match. That tally doubled with Clacton winning the game 10-0, 5 different goalscorers with Lauren Lucas, Charlotte Warren and Amy Hartley finding the back of the net along with first goals for the season for Megan-Leigh Lawrence and Charlotte Robertson.

Lastly in Division One, Hutton Ladies Reserves were away on Sunday playing Chigwell Ladies. The hosts leading the game at half-time thanks to a goal from Amy Smith. Hutton coming back in the 2nd half to level the scores then go on to win the game 2-1 with Cassandra Piejko and Baylie Kingsnorth scoring the goals the win lifting Hutton up into 5th position in the table.

Leigh Ramblers Ladies winning run continues as they make it 6 in a row since an opening day defeat to join leaders Frontiers Ladies on 18 points at the top of the Essex Women’s Premier Division. Their latest win coming at home on Sunday against fellow promoted side Southend United Ladies. A 2-1 lead for Leigh Ramblers at half-time they went on to find the back of the net for a further 2 goals in the 2nd half to win the game 4-1. Amy Jacobs scoring a brace their were goals too for Rebecca Dalgarno and Kate Newton. Ra Toovey with the 1st half goal for Southend.

Harlow Town Ladies Development continue to consolidate 3rd position in the Premier Division table winning for the 4th time in the league this Sunday, along with Frontiers remain unbeaten in the league too a strong 1st half performance at home taking on bottom side Brentwood Town Ladies Reserves, Harlow holding a 5-1 lead a further goal added in the 2nd period seeing them win 6-1. Ellie Nicholls scoring twice their were goals too for Hannah Smith, Lucy Edmeades and Tasmin Turner, with Evie Anderson scoring her 1st goal for Harlow. Lauren Knight with the 37th minute goal for Brentwood.

A gap down to 4th placed Chelmsford City Ladies and defeat on the road sees the side behind them close the gap. Chelmsford were taking on Collier Row Tigers who had a slow start to their season 1 point from their opening 3 games a 1st win of the campaign coming last Sunday, made it back to back wins to climb into 5th spot. Sarah Finch and Laura Bunton both on the scoresheet with 2 goals each, with Helen Moreira also getting a goal her 1st of the season in a 5-2 win. Lisa Overall with both of the goals for Chelmsford.

Silver End United Ladies also climb the Premier Division table joining Collier Row Tigers on 7 points with victory on the road this Sunday against Corringham Cosmos. Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies excellent start to the season continues as they chalked up their 7th straight win to maintain their 3 point lead at the top of Essex Women’s Division One on Sunday. Were at home taking on 4th placed Runwell Sorts Ladies, a goal in each half securing a 2-0 win for Dagenham & Redbridge, Jodie Barden scoring for the 6th time this season, Sade Walters was on target for her 1st goal.

Billericay Town Ladies Reserves keep the pressure on the leaders as the 2nd placed side recorded their 6th league win of the season away from home on Sunday, a local derby taking on Hutton Ladies Reserves, a brace for Rachel Armstrong-Morris along with a goal for Anna-Maria Rains sealing a 3-1 victory for Billericay. A high scoring match between FC Clacton Ladies and Rayleigh Town Ladies with the sides contesting a 9 goal thriller, 3rd placed Rayleigh narrowly beating 5th placed Clacton. A home, Becky McDougall striking home 3 goals to claim a hat-trick for Clacton moving her onto 7 goals for the season, Lauren Lucas with her 1st of the season. 4 goals not enough however to get anything from the game as Rayleigh hit them for 5 up the other end. A first league win of the season for Island Ladies having joined the league this season, their first 3 points coming in their 5th match at home to Chigwell Ladies on Sunday. Island had only scored 2 goals in those previous 4 matches, were rampant in front of goal this time around scoring double figures! Chigwell scoring 3 times themselves through Emily Alexander and a brace from Victoria Parker, Island went crazy up the other end, Jess Bowen scoring a hat-trick. Everyone else getting their 1st goals in Division One for Island, Rebecca Hopkins also celebrating a hat-trick. Both Ebonnie Williams and Elizabeth Clarke scored 2 a piece with Georgia Holdaway also opening her account in an 11-3 win.

5th placed Chelmsford City Ladies were at home on Sunday taking on Beacon Hill Rovers Ladies. The sides sharing 6 goals between them, shared the points too with the game ending all square at 3-3. A first league win of the season for Collier Row Tigers on Sunday lifts them up to 6th in the Premier Division table. A big win to coming away to Silver End United Ladies. Both Sarah Finch and Emily Dempsey hitting 4 goals apiece. Laura Bunton last seasons top scorer getting her first goal of the new campaign. Collier Row Tigers winning 9-1. A 100% winning start for the leaders of Essex Women’s Division One too as Dagenham & Redbridge Ladies continue their excellent start to the season winning for the 6th time to remain 3 points clear at the top of the table. On the road this Sunday playing Hutton Ladies Reserves, top scorer Amy Jacobs keeping up hr fine form in front of goal scoring a hat-trick to move her onto 22 goals from 6 appearances. Grace Tebb-Reading also scoring for Dagenham & Redbridge along with Stephanie Males who netted her 1st goal of the season in a 5-2 win. Rachael Agombar and Casandra Piejko with her 1st of the season getting the goals for Hutton Ladies Reserves.

Away to Chelmsford City Ladies Reserves this Sunday piled on the goals once again. Captain Isabelle Wallings had 14 goals already this season from 3 league games, including a 10 goal haul in one match claimed a further 8 this weekend moving her onto 22 goals.
