For the 2nd successive Sunday I went to watch a match in Norfolk Women’s Division One and this one had the new season feeling about it too as both sides were competing in their 1st match of the season. Match report – Bungay Town Ladies v Aylsham FC Ladies
A new season of women’s football kicked off across the counties in the east with Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire all getting their league fixtures under-way. I was excited looking forwards to the new season. Began with a trip across Norfolk to Maltings Meadow the home of Bungay Town Ladies as they started with a tough test against defending champions Aylsham FC Ladies.
